Mischa's approach is characterized by empathy, understanding, patience, and a warmth that children naturally gravitate toward. She firmly believes that every child has their unique story to tell, and is an attentive listener in her therapeutic work. She truly values the importance of nurturing children's individuality and guiding them towards discovering their happy self.

With a rich background spanning 15 years of working with children, Mischa’s professional journey in childhood development began with the early years, where she specialised in creative music classes tailored for ages 1-6. Her belief in the transformative potential of play led her to transition into the more therapeutic role of a play therapist, working with primary school-aged children (5-12). She has worked in the creative field throughout her entire life, with music being her personal passion. Having 3 children herself, she is familiar with the ins and outs of parenthood.

Mischa has completed her Post Graduate Certificate in Therapeutic Play skills and her Post Graduate Diploma in Play Therapy, both with APAC (Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy).

Mischa is Garda vetted and proudly holds professional memberships with Play Therapy Ireland (PTIrl) who are affiliated with Play Therapy International (PTI). She’s also a member of the Irish Play Therapy Community Association (IPTCA).
